Droberson759 0 #1 Posted April 26, 2015 Hi guys I have a rear discharge deck on my 854. The little axle/nubs that the two side trailing/leveling wheels ride on are worn. They are the two wheels connected to the mowing height bar on the rear of the deck. One of those little axles are broken. The other is worn halfway through where a wheel bearing locked up and the wheel rode on the axle. My question is.. what are my options here? Those nubs are welded in place and will need to be grinded out. Any thoughts and ideas are appreciated. Thank you!
brianc423 9 #2 Posted May 6, 2015 I would say grind them off...weld in new "axles" for it.
pacer 3,160 #3 Posted May 6, 2015 My 48" deck on my D-180 has the same arrangement, and the same problems -- I did as Brian says, sawed them off and welded replacements on, was a pretty simple procedure actually....
