whizskier 0 #1 Posted April 23, 2015 I have a 1971 Raider 12 3 bade mowing deck. The replacement belt for the pulleys on the deck itself is a little too big. Can I adjust the tension or move the pulley over to take up the slack? Do I have the wrong size belt? Help! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

whizskier 0 #3 Posted April 23, 2015 I have the old belt on it right now. It's still in one piece but it's pretty beat, so I bought a new one last year and tried to put it on but it was just a little bigger, so I left the old one on. I take my deck off the machine to put the plow on every winter, then in the spring I take the plow off and replace the deck. I figure that this was a good time to put the new belt on.
