The "pin" that holds the drawbar and slot hitch to the transaxle....what is its overall length and diameter?

The diameter is 3/4" Not sure the length. It's just a little longer then the width of the draw bar. There is spacer that fill in for the slot hitch if not used. if just the slot hitch it's just a little longer then the width of the slot hitch. A lot of guys just buy a 3/4" hitch pin from TSC. I could get some measurements later if you need more info. but its some where around 8" long.

Here is what I use most of the time. A 3/4" x 6 7/8" top link pin from Tractor Supply.

They need to be kept oiled or used Ant-Seize to keep them able to be removed. Some owner have had real problems getting rusted hitch pin out. I'm out east on China Grove around 7 miles.

Don, howdy neighbor!  I live over behind the NAPA on the south end of town.

I find myself getting the cart before the horse on this 416.  I need to get it running first, but I find myself on other projects for it.

Today's project:

303 SS bearing shaft round stock.  Should be good to go!

That SS rod should do the trick!!

Just keep it lubricated so it can be removed if necessary.

Looks great. Don't forget the pair of spacers if you're not using a sleeve hitch.   :)
