246H Quick-Attach brackets for snow plow

:banghead: Looking for attachment brackets both front and rear to fit a 1995 Toro Wheel Horse model 246H for a snow plow. I have the plow and a friend has the tractor but Toro wants way too much for the attachment hardware. Anyone know of any used or preferably unused brackets?

I know the 240's and 260's are different tractors, but I thought at least some of the implements interchange (especially the throwers). Are the brackets you're looking for for the rear of the tractor? If so, the 260 brackets may be similar or the same. Joes Outdoor Power (on eBay) had a 260 bracket 6 months or so ago and nobody bid...just an idea.

I know the very similar 200 series (late model w/ aero headlamps) snowblade mounts to the front tachamatic and NOT the rear. I assume that's not the blade you have though. The 260 blade looks just like the normal A-frame blade which mounts to the rear attachmatic, but the mounting points are much different. There is one on eBay right now for reference: 260 series blade (Zieg, you listening?)

i know the Verts don't have much of a following here, but the 240's are actually pretty nice tractors. I have a 246H like yours and tinker with it from time to time. Has the old style 48" deck, but mows pretty nice anyway. Only downside I see to them is the lightweight transaxle...

Thanks Steve, the plow you mentioned is the same as the one I have, mine is new, don't think it was ever on a tractor.

The 244 and the 246 are the same frame and transaxle.
