Xjchief 128 #1 Posted April 16, 2015 (edited) So I just picked up this b60 that looks to be somewhat of a mutt. It has a k181 electric start, has different early 80's sticker on the fenders, sharpie making the 6 an 8 on the dash tower and it also says 8speed but it's only a 4 speed. Racinbob 11,925 #5 Posted April 16, 2015 (edited) 7k801. 1976 B-60 Well, it should have an 8 speed but it wouldn't surprise me if Wheel Horse used up some 4 speeds in the early B-60's but I'm thinking tranny swap. But the tunnel cover is for a 4 speed. The B-60's were also pull start. It seems clear that the 8hp electric start was a swap out but absolutely no harm done.
