JD LX255 bagger on 417A

I have a 1/2 acre hilly and with tall oaks. New to Riding mower world. So far I love my 417 and have been looking for a bagger. I have a complete shop, so fabricating attachment mechanisms shouldn't be a problem. What I'm wondering if I'd be crazy to try to mount John Deere LX255 bagger that's available locally on my Wheel Horse? This is a two bag system, should I be looking at three? Are the power baggers really the only way to go? Sorry if this has been covered, any links to forums that offer more insight will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Troy

The wheel horse decks (other than the 37", which wont fit on a tractor with the standard 16" front tires) don't generate enough lift to have an unpowered bagger attachment.

Wheel horse made a power flow belt driven bagger attachment that has a blower that mounts right on the deck which I would recommend, or look into other options like a trac-vac or similar that has a separate engine mounted inline.
