bluetuna08 0 #9 Posted November 2, 2008 did you take it completely apart to weld it or did you weld it all asembled. this is actually a tricky weld to make because everything needs to be square and true.
jerrell 1 #10 Posted November 3, 2008 :USA: Kelly if you were closer , i would take those tires off your hands, just been scanning sites and the shipping cost just about as much as the tires, and on ebay actually more than the tires, i am looking around here for some but not so much luck, have a lot of turf but no ags, jerry
Butch 194 #11 Posted November 3, 2008 yes i've welded it but it still rocks back and forth Is it rocking back and forth because of the duallies or is it because it's broke again? If it's not broke why do you think a new frame will work? Did you post a pic of your repair? I wonder if it might be twisting where those welds are on the steel channel where it meets the plate. Those welds didn't go all the way across and I was curious why. Maybe it's to allow for flexing and without it the welds would break. Can other bracing be welded in? That's a lot of work to tear it all down and build up again. Butch
