Ken B 3,189 #1 Posted April 3, 2015 It has been such a long winter, I could care less if I ever again see another snow flake.. After a road trip today with Stevebo, when I got home it was in the mid 60's so I decided to take the blade, chains and weights off of the 314. I then figured what the heck so I woke all of them from their LONG winters nap. I'm sure most guys have seen them.. My son Cole ran all of them up and down the street a few times. Everything fired right up and they all ran perfect, one of em is a little sleeper... I'm ready for the first show.

grnlark 489 #4 Posted April 4, 2015 (edited) That LSE is just downright unbelievable. I would almost go out on a limb to say that's maybe my most favorite WH of all time. Edited April 4, 2015 by grnlark

Ken B 3,189 #8 Posted April 5, 2015 So, yesterday while running the 420 around it ran out of gas as I was backing it into the garage. Obviously I had less than I thought! I was only happy it didn't run out of gas while Cole was riding it around the Hood because I didn't have any and would have had to run down to the gas station. I pushed it the last 3 feet into the garage and figured in a few days I'll fill it up, no big hurry. So, yesterday I decided I would put the deck under the 314 and clean the carb on it as well. I checked the fuel and it was kinda low, I decided I'd better run down to the station cause I didn't want a repeat of the day before.. Well, when I'm refillin the 420 I look up and I notice that when it ran out of gas I left the key on! DUMB#@$Z% I shout out! Cole is outside and overhears me, he comes into the garage and asks who, I say me! He asks Dad why are you a DUMB@$ZZ? Because I just added 20 hrs to the meter because I left the key on yesterday when it ran out of gas... At the the end of the day It could have been worse as there really was no big hurry to fill the tank on this one. It could have sat until running the hr. meter killed the battery and if that happened I probably would have punched myself in the face. At least its still under 300. I'm always careful about turning keys off but I guess poop happens. I bet there are a ton of tractors out there that racked up hrs. this way.. I now take the key out of this one after running it. stevebo-(Moderator) 8,531 #9 Posted April 5, 2015 Ken- I agree with you that the hours on an hour meter is the "max' hours on a tractor. You are not the first and will not be the last.

PaulC 342 #13 Posted April 6, 2015 that is one sweet herd Ken but I hardly notice the others next to that 420!! that hour meter could read 3000 and I still wouldn't care one of my life missions is going to be acquiring one of those bad boys, although very unlikely. shortly after getting my horse I started getting into them and found myself really gaining interest learning the history of the company, all the cool models and insane amount of attachments they made. then when I came across a picture of a brand new 420LSE I was in complete awe!! I consider you and the few others very lucky to have them!!
