Jrblanke 918 #1 Posted April 2, 2015 I am away from my tractor, but would like to order a shifter knob. It has the High/Low, but is missing the 1-2-3-R knob. Is the thread size 3/8-16? Thanks, James
PaulC 342 #2 Posted April 2, 2015 Scroll down to the bottom and you will have a few different styles to choose from. Glen is a great guy to deal with, has good products, and its even better to get to support a redsquare vendor
Racinbob 11,925 #3 Posted April 2, 2015 3/8"-16 Glen definitely is the guy to deal with. His knobs are better than factory. At least what is on my 2005. I don't have the brass inserts. I had to remove them recently and some of the plastic around the threaded hole chipped. I'll be ordering form him again and that's one of the things I'll be getting. Planning on waiting for the big show though and just pick up the order there. If you use the flat top with the decal insert make sure you wait until the knob is tightly screwed on before you install the decal.

GlenPettit 1,717 #5 Posted April 2, 2015 (edited) You're correct, 3/8–16 is the correct thread: Comes without the label applied so you can screw on the knob first, tight, then apply the label so it is readable. Best to lightly clean the flat area with 'iso alcohol' before applying label, to remove oils & fingerprints. Blue threadlock or a drop of Rubber Cement on the threads will keep the knob on tight/straight in use. To keep an old dry-whitish knob looking good/new/black, use a 'Rubber Rejunivator' like Meguiar's or STP. Terry, at "www.ReDoYourHorse.com" has new labels that you can apply on your old Knobs.
