BairleaFarm 340 #1 Posted November 2, 2008 whats the inside of a blower look like for a leaf vac? is it something like a squiell cage off a furnace? or a big version of a shop vac fan?
Sparky-(Admin) 22,239 #2 Posted November 2, 2008 I think its more like the second impeller on a 2 stage snowblower. Mike...........

Rollerman 290 #5 Posted November 2, 2008 David my PeCo brand vac has two cast aluminium paddles in the blower housing. They conform to the shape of the inside of the housing & clamp together right over the output shaft on the engine. Every company has a differant design. A furnace type fan would not work. It get pluged up fast & also to get things going fast enough to move the volume of air....you'd well...have a nice time bomb.
sorekiwi 761 #6 Posted November 2, 2008 In the other thread, I was suggesting using the furnace fan as a blower not a sucker (!!)
