catcher77 29 #1 Posted March 31, 2015 I am working on front bumper for my Wheel Horse Tractor and need some solid steel dome rivets that are 1/2" diameter, about 5/8" to 1" long. These are very hard to find. Thanks

daveoman1966 3,612 #3 Posted April 1, 2015 (edited) FASTENAL... or as WHnut says.. carriage bolts. Stainless Steel carriage bolts are cheap and don't rust. Use Nylok nuts. I use SS carriage bolts on the front bumper of my S-10 pickup...still look good, and no rust. Easy to replace the bumper, too (3 times now...deer kills), because they don't rust. catcher77 29 #4 Posted April 1, 2015 Thanks for the replies. I should have been more specific on the use of the rivets. I will be welding the rivets to the frame and using them as hangers. I tried Fastenal with no luck. Thanks again
bowtieguy 334 #5 Posted April 1, 2015 Catch...try a farm store (TSC or Orschliens) or farm imp dealer....look at "plow shear bolts"...they will have a flat head ideal for welding...just my 2 $$'s
