DMESS 24 #2 Posted November 1, 2008 Do you really need the number to identify a C-195? :banghead:
CasualObserver 3,406 #3 Posted November 1, 2008 Mike... you have to put the dash in the number. 01-19KE01
Teddy da Bear 11 #4 Posted November 1, 2008 Yes I know it is a C-195..... I was just putting you guys on......lol I will post some pics tomarow. I also picked up another GT-14 with an ARK loader and a 50" mid-mount grader blade. It was like the tri-fecta of auctions......

Teddy da Bear 11 #8 Posted November 2, 2008 thanks friend Mike.... I have some pics.....but I can get some better ones tomarow. There were 104 wheel horses at this gentleman's auction. 7 or 8 green things.....lol (One red square member caught in the act of driving one.....lol) Mountains of parts, decks, blades.....you name it. This guy had quite a collection and I guess he even kept some out from that count. Including another Super C! I wanted to ask......how many were there made? I know it was a small number. And I got the 60" deck too. It was a wild experience bringing home two of some of the biggest wheel horses. One with a loader no less. I was not sure who was driving who, home.... :banghead:
htopjimmy26 3 #9 Posted November 2, 2008 I though same thing when I saw that model # I have both a 01-19ke01 and 01-19ke02 they are kinda hard to mistake for anything else [unless you have never seen one. ] :banghead:
C-Series14 15 #10 Posted November 2, 2008 So you went to the big auction? I wanted to go but once again, the military decides when I work! I wanted one of theose 48" deck shells he had.... Congrats on the Super C, there was a post on numbers I thought...I got a 56" blade for a C-195 if you want to add to your "small" collection!!!

HorseFixer 2,012 #12 Posted November 2, 2008 Soooooooo please give us a rundown on what the tractors went for there! Thanks Duke
Teddy da Bear 11 #13 Posted November 2, 2008 Refracman........the GT-14 with loader. Cost $1,100 The Super C with $60" deck with 284 hours. Cost $600 50" mid-mount blade for D-series. Cost $120 GT-14 fender set. Cost $27. No NOS parts the second day. But they got done late on Friday and still had more parts to finish up on Saturday. Parts seemed to go high there (not mine). Tractors were very reasonable. Strange how more people showed up on Friday for parts than Saturday for tractors. Most people had saturday off as well..... I did not keep a running count of each tractor sale. He had 4 or 5 1054s and two 953s. Was going to buy one for spare parts, but they went high for non-running parts tractors. Two restored RJ's w/decks went for about $400 each. Complete running 60's tractors went between $350 & $400. 70's about the same if not a little higher. Most 60's parts tractors went for $50 to $80. 70's parts tractors a bit more. One beautiful 1077 with hydro-lift. Original paint that looked "showroom" $410 (gone to Canada) C-160 with ARK loader...... went for $3000 I also invited a couple of nice gentleman to check out Red Square. refracman 166 #14 Posted November 2, 2008 Did yourself pertty good there Mike. That GT was a good buy. The 195 seemed a little rough but if it runs good then worth it. Seems like you got in the buying spirit today! Was going to come but decided not to, dang it. Well at least I sold some parts today to make up for yesterday. Still would of liked to have been there. I think the prices were down because scrap is only 30 bucks a ton now and the scrapers were not driven them up. Hope they were bought by Wheel Horse guys! Rollerman 290 #15 Posted November 2, 2008 Mike congrats on the two new tractors. A GT 14 would be pretty hand with an FEL. I think you's mentioned you have a good sized yard too...bet the C195 W/60" deck will earn it's keep too.
Teddy da Bear 11 #16 Posted November 2, 2008 Thanks Stephen..... Raining here....... Pictures soon. The super C could not make much of a difference here....lol I still have to pull my gang reel mower to keep the hours down on cutting. I was actually thinking of parting with the C for a few moments... But then I started it and drove it.....ooooops! Now I want to keep it....lol It starts soooo easy. Lots of cosmetic issues. Leaks of various fluids at various places....lol Deck is not pretty either. But sounds good.......that is something...lol Pictures coming after it clears up a bit. Teddy da Bear 11 #18 Posted November 2, 2008 Here are some pics. The Super C looks like someone put a grenade under the fender....lol Is this easy to repair? Epoxy resin?? The pic of the GT-14 is courtesy of my friend Burly who received it from another. The pic is actually a couple of years old and was for sale then according to Burly.
