MalMac 1,328 #2 Posted March 29, 2015 Let me re-phrase this, has anybody used or can aftermarket rings be used on the new style pistons that were used in the Magnums? I had read somewhere that there were some problems with aftermarket rings used on Kohler OEM pistons, especially the newer style (Mahle) in the Magnums.
