Spring Ready

Recommended Posts

Tankman

Last week I started getting the Stallions ready for spring time! The herd loves green grass, me too.

Took plows, wheel weights, chains off. Ahhhhhhhhh, warm spring sun, green grass, short sleeve shirts and a Rolling Rock Pony on the patio.

Today, I set up the newest addition to the herd with his spring implements.

Are you ready for June bugs? I think Mr. Gore called it right, did he?  :eusa-think:

The hammock is calling.....ahhhhhhhhhhh.

Good thinking!  :laughing-rofl:

Might as well just leave well enough alone for another couple of weeks. Sleep in a bit, relax.

Still have a little snow on the ground, but I don't think I will need the blower from here on out.

Looks like the view I'm seein' out my kitchen window.

Outside Allentown, PA a blizzard up here. Weather says, continuing till 11 or so tonight. Yuk!

Two days ago I leveled my stone drives and rolled 'em tight. Plow again, I'll be rolling the drives again.

PS. Finished up with 7" of the ugly, white, cold, wet, slime slip slide about stuff! I like the smell of fresh cut blue grass.  :laughing-rofl:

The old Work Horse pushed effortlessly. The Briggs surprised me, I like my older Kohlers, nah, I love my old Kohlers.

Wouldn't even thinking about moving the snow shovels in MI yet. Just let everything lay. Don't upset her Mother Nature that is.

Pick up a new deck drive belt too! Seems as if you have time, spring is way off!   :laughing-rofl:

If the old belt seems OK label it and hang the belt up for a spare.

And, pictures are required, worth a thousand words.

Perhaps #1 on my wish list, a mid-mount grader blade. Honest Honey, I'll fix the leaky faucet washer as soon as I'm done with the drive.

Anyone know of a 6" wide mid-mount blade?   :laughing-rofl:

You got me thinking, using parts off one horse on the other, now that sounds like a money saving idea!

Hmm still not sure that's enough reason to have two horses but I'll try that past the wife later, thanks for tip. :-p

I have 10 tractors to maintain between me and my dad and m.i.l. so batteries can really be costly. I switch some back and forth between seasons.
