PP_8 Plow Question

Recommended Posts

Michael Bullington

when i place my plow into the hitch on my 654, it shifts left and right, due to the plow hitch is much small than the slot hitch on the tractor,,,I think this is older plow than the tractor...did the rjs have a smaller hitch?, how did people use this plow on this model tractor with it shifting all over the place?

thanks

Michael

If the plow is setup well it will track right behind the tractor. The style of hitch WHs use are somewhat limited though.

yes, the RJ and Suburban hitches were just a little smaller, (At least mine are.) Mike's right though, it should track along with no problem once it's in the ground.

:banghead: Michael just gussing, do you have the bushings that hold the hitch stationary on ? witha a pic i bet you get dozens of good info. i have a slot hitch and not familar with the clevis hitch, but the plow should be stationary and straight., i think :USA: if the tongue on the plow is a lot smaller than the slot in the hitch maybe you could weld it and make it wider to fit the slot hitch.. jerry
