boovuc 1,090 #3 Posted March 15, 2015 Then again, even when you cross reference it, it is still obsolete for the newer Magnums. Mmmmmm Ebay or our own classified adds, David! If the shaft is loose and worn on the ends and flops around, you can order bushings for it from a number of suppliers. I have some here that I bought for my KT17 because it wouldn't idle well anymore. They work if that is your issue! Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

ericj 1,579 #5 Posted March 15, 2015 i have a friend that has a small machine shop and he makes me new shafts for my kohler carbs. he shows me the old shaft and that's what is worn not the housing usually. the 4 or 5 carbs he has done for me maybe more i think he only had to bush 1 body, the rest were just shafts. i am very fortunate to have him to do this cause i don't know were else i would get this done. and for you onan haters out there i've never had to have 1 of them bushed , just saying eric j 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
