Ed Kennell 41,849 #1 Posted March 12, 2015 First I had to do my least favorite chore. Since Paul didn't take my hint and travel south with his power sweeper, I had to hand rake for about two hours to get the stones out of the lawn and back on the road. Then I hooked my favorite worker to the roller and got two hours of quality seat time rolling the lawn and the road. Also rolled in a breaker to turn the water off the road.
KevinG 5 #2 Posted March 12, 2015 Sounds like you had a lot of rocks on your grass. Like the setup though, nice horse!

Theroundhousernr 590 #4 Posted March 13, 2015 (edited) You lucky devil. Can't believe your snows all melted from last thursday. I got atleast 8 inches laying in the yard yet. I can hardly wait to get started on cleaning up! Only place it looks like that is where I went through with the blower. papaglide 542 #5 Posted March 13, 2015 Geez, I am very envious. Of the seat time you got, the nice tractor, the nice roller, and of having grass. We still have about 8-12" of snow cover still!

Ed Kennell 41,849 #7 Posted March 13, 2015 Sounds like you had a lot of rocks on your grass. Like the setup though, nice horse! The stones were not too bad as most of the snows we had this year were plowed. That heavy 10 incher last Thur. is the only one I used the blower on and threw a few stones. That horse sure does look good against that green background! It's amazing how green the grass stays under the snow. Where I blew some paths the grass is brown. You lucky devil. Can't believe your snows all melted from last thursday. I got atleast 8 inches laying in the yard yet. I can hardly wait to get started on cleaning up! Only place it looks like that is where I went through with the blower. We have had 4 days with temps in the 50s and most of it melted on the South side where the pics were taken. I still have a 15" drift on the North side. Geez, I am very envious. Of the seat time you got, the nice tractor, the nice roller, and of having grass. We still have about 8-12" of snow cover still! I like to roll out the humps and ruts as soon as it thaws. With the sun and wind, It doesn't take long for it to get too dry to roll.

Ed Kennell 41,849 #10 Posted March 13, 2015 Can do Eric. Only problem is My trailer is like yours....loaded with horses. I could hook the roller to the F-150 and pull it up 74. It should be real shiny till I get to Freysville.
tunahead72 2,543 #11 Posted March 13, 2015 Hey, I'm not that far from Red Lion, can I be next after Eric? My Wheel Horse won't be ready, so you'll have to use one of yours (or Eric's). And you'll have to wait until my yard is reasonably dry, right now I have a small stream running through my front yard, and puddles in the back. But that's no problem, right? Ed Kennell 41,849 #12 Posted March 13, 2015 Now, Phoenixville is pretty far to tow a steel roller Ed. If I'm branching out that far , I think I better add hydraulic operated road tires to each side. Then I guess PennDot will require a title, license, inspection, and an emission test.
cruisnblue48 856 #13 Posted March 13, 2015 Rollin' rollin' rollin'... Sounds like you have a Rawhide adventure going on there. While you're coming up 74, might as well turn off onto 24 and come to east York. My yard could use a good rollin' also. Actually, I would like to get my horses out and play, but the yard is still a bit mushy from all that snow melt this week.
