Jake Wilkerson 38 #1 Posted February 21, 2015 (edited) I had a 73 no name for the majority of my childhood. We unfortunately had to get rid of it when I was 13 when we moved to Louisiana. I've missed it and have wanted one ever since. Well I finally got my chance. She's not much of a looker but she's all there and it was owned by a family friend. These things aren't too common I've found in the Deep South so I'll be traveling to Kentucky soon to pick it up. I look forward to interacting with you fellas and can't wait to get started resto-modding my new Wheel Horse! Jake Posting pictures seems to be a chore from a phone. I'll have them uploaded to Photobucket in a minute. Edited February 21, 2015 by asleepz

ericj 1,579 #11 Posted February 21, 2015 (edited) dad bought a 73 12 auto brand new when i was a kid. we went from dad threatening to kill us to get the yard mowed with the old push mower to me and my brother fighting over who would mow the yard. me and that old 12 went through a lot together or maybe i should say i put that old 12 through a lot of h.ll. i've been looking for the right one for quite a few years now. i have one that the motor smokes pretty bad the sheet metal is pitted bad, so i'm looking for one that's in better shape to start on and i know that sooner or later one will come along. good luck and keep posting updates as you progress and welcome to eric j Edited February 21, 2015 by ericj

Ed Kennell 41,843 #13 Posted February 21, 2015 Jake. My first tractor was a C -120 auto, and it is still my favorite. The li'l Tecky has never failed to start.
Jake Wilkerson 38 #14 Posted February 21, 2015 (edited) Yeah our old one went through hell too. I'd let it idle for hours, pulled a 33' double axle hay trailer with it a few times. I'd take it into town and go to the store with it. It was like my car before I was old enough to drive. Edited February 21, 2015 by asleepz
