bitten 134 #5 Posted October 28, 2008 I have heard that most of the problems with these (old ones) is that they warp. Has anyone tried to heat them in maybe an oven (150 or so)sandwiched between maybe 2 steel plates? Just a thought, P.J.

GlenPettit 1,717 #9 Posted October 30, 2008 This is Glen with the GT-14 Dash Panels and Shift Plates. Yes, I still have some: $40 and $25 (+6 shipping), or both for $60 (which includes shipping). Just finished making the steering wheel inserts for all Wheel Horses since '62, these are a match for the original plastic, but instead of the original decals they each have the colored WH logo (black & red on white) embedded in clear domed plastic ($15 + $2). Hope to have pictures this weekend and be on eBay again Sunday. Have made & am making many of the small plastic parts for the older Wheel Horses. Personal checks OK. Has anyone tried to heat them in maybe an oven (150 or so)sandwiched between maybe 2 steel plates? Just a thought, P.J. I have one that RustBuckets brought me with a tractor that was warped really bad that I heated up between two pieces of slate floor tiles on top of my wood stove until it was flat. Then I took it out to my garage and clamped it down tight while it was cooling to make sure it stayed flat and it's perfect! Don't know about an oven, but this worked GREAT for me  I can post a pic if anyone wants?
