botzitaliano 36 #1 Posted February 13, 2015 Hey all my names Mike. Just picked up a really nice d-250 today. Aside from the tractor i got a parts tractor, 2 60" cutting decks, 60" hydro plow, manual, box of extra parts and belts, and tire chains all for 1300$. The Renault motor purrs like a kitten and the dash looks brand new. I picked this machine up mostly to plow my 300' driveway. After seeing what a tank this thing is i can wait to try it out in the snow. I have a few questions about the plow. Is there a way to make it power angle or is it just power up and down?? Was messing with it a little before and manually i can get it to lock straight and left but right there's no locking pin hole lined up. Am i doing something wrong?? Right now there's a cutting deck on it. Does that have to cone off for the plow to work?? Im going to try to mess around with it more tomm and over the weekend. I look forward to hearing from yall. Thanks in advance for your help. And when i figure out how to post pics ill post em up

stratostar250 919 #7 Posted February 13, 2015 Welcome to the site! She looks like a real nice '76! I think that was for sale on this site a few months ago. I'm sure you could leave the mowing deck on while you plow, but I would not, because it would only get in the way, giving you less ground clearance, and getting the mower deck wet, out in possibly salty conditions may cause it to rust, and those decks aren't too plentiful or cheap. I hope you have great luck with your new tank!

botzitaliano 36 #9 Posted February 13, 2015 Stratostar 250. Yes this is i believe one that was sold about a year ago or more. I actually knew the family of the original owner and a friend of mine knew the guy who i just bought it off of. The guy bought it to cut grass at his nursery and wound up buying a zero turn instead. Worked out for me.
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 10,539 #10 Posted February 13, 2015 Welcome to the forum. Go into the Manuals and do a search for D-250 When the results come up go to the top line and click on Submission Date. Change that to Title and then click on Ascending order. That will give you 94 results. Garry
