RedRanger 1,468 #1 Posted February 6, 2015 I've got a 867 with the original cigar lighter. It heats up when pushed in, but does not want to pop back out on its own. Is this something I can fix? I've cleaned it and soaked it in WD40. It slides in and out easily and gets red hot. Just doesn't pop back out on its own. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
rmaynard 14,951 #2 Posted February 6, 2015 The barrel of the lighter is spring loaded. When you push it in, clips in the socket hold it. When the element heats up, the clips expand and the spring pops the lighter out. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
