I have a 416h with a 2 stage blower should the belt be on the inside out outside pulley

depends on the kind of snow i can blow it 60 ft or more under the right conditions

it needs to be the right kind of snow not to fluffy and definitely not to wet. ice pellets go the fartherest. it will out throw my mtd yardman 10.528 walk behind snow blower and my single stage wheel horse snow thrower. some pictures of your blower might help if it's not throwing very far

you also on top of the right type of snow, have to have the right amount of snow to throw it the farthest, the auger needs to be full but not packed, just today as I was blowing snow it would go farther as I came to a drift and filled the auger, it threw it at least twice as far, going from a 15/20' throw to well over 30' with a single stage, and this is kinda fluffy snow

martin that the beauty of the 2 stage blower it don't have to be loaded like a single stage blower to throw it far
