boovuc 1,090 #31 Posted February 1, 2015 High hours! High maintenance! (All that chrome to keep clean). Two cylinders in stead of one! I'll give you $500 for it. Call me crazy! Real happy for you! That is quite the "barn find"! I'm waiting for a friends friend's cousin's daughter's grandmother once removed to call me and ask if I want this big old mower they have in their barn. Something about a Pond! I can dream!

marvairplanes 34 #38 Posted February 6, 2015 Cutlas 3391... Congrats on your newest addition ! With all the interest shown on the 420 LSE I'm really amazed that I did not get a SINGLE inquiry/response when I listed mine (#51) some time ago here on RED SQUARE and also on e-bay.
Cutlas3391 776 #39 Posted February 6, 2015 Do you mine if I ask what you where asking for a price? Also it's a tough sale there a little pricey and some Wheel horse guys shy away from them.
tsmall07 49 #40 Posted February 7, 2015 So, what's so good about them apart from all the chrome bits?
squonk 38,947 #41 Posted February 7, 2015 Simple. When you have nothing else to do there's chrome to polish! Anybody who's ever owned a bike knows that!
AMC RULES 36,945 #42 Posted February 7, 2015 Well, like the Chrysler Cordoba... there's always that rich Corinthian leather.

Cutlas3391 776 #47 Posted February 10, 2015 Think positive Karen! Good things come to those who wait... I have wanted a 420 for quite a few yrs. myself, one finally came along. Not NOS but it only has 271 hrs. on it.. Ken yours likens cream puff compare to mine has 1300 hours on it mechanical find just needs a few cosmetic clean ups. I already started the process on cleaning her up. As for this 420lse it's retired and just going to become a trailer queen. Maybe a few Sunday drives and light duties
Cutlas3391 776 #48 Posted February 10, 2015 Well I got the rear tires off then 420lse and clean them up a little. FYI I hate when people load the tires up with fluid not fun to deal with. I'm debating rather to send the wheels out for chrome job because there some good damage to the wheels or keep them original? ?
Hodge71 663 #49 Posted February 10, 2015 420 LSE, Aug 2008 002.jpgCutlas 3391... Congrats on your newest addition ! With all the interest shown on the 420 LSE I'm really amazed that I did not get a SINGLE inquiry/response when I listed mine (#51) some time ago here on RED SQUARE and also on e-bay. I think the starting price was $3000 I dont recall if there was a buy it now or reserve. I was following 2 that were for sale around the same time last year. If this is indicative of the cost of the 420 LSE, i doubt I will ever own one. It would need to be absolutely pristine like KenB's for me to even think about that kind of coin, and then itd be a hard sell to the girlfriend. I would sooner own a Senior or Lever Steer
WheelHorse79 271 #50 Posted February 10, 2015 That looks like some rust through, so it won't be cheap or easy to fix. Too bad there are no NOS chrome rims available, they might be cheaper than a repair/rechrome job. Was there fluid in the tires that caused the rust through?
