Jwork2much 12 #1 Posted January 30, 2015 Howdy Folks! It's been awhile but I have a question. I am about to try and perform a simple task for most of you guys but a pretty good size one for me. I don't wrench much but will attempt to replace my speed control lever which snapped the day before we got 26" of snow....lol good timing huh? I bought another used one on ebay and was wondering if anyone had any tips? Don't chuckle too loud tho, I can hear it now.......LOL

"D"- Man 827 #3 Posted January 30, 2015 Looks to be pretty straight forward to me just by looking at the parts manual, Mark. P.S. This is the manual for the 18 Automatic model but as far as this part goes it should be the same.
Jwork2much 12 #4 Posted January 30, 2015 (edited) Thanks guys.......unfortunately I do not have that page that was attached, and it's too small for me to view so I am going to try and find the manual.......I have tried before but with no luck. Thanks again P.S. Just what year is this 18 speed auto manual please.....this is just too frustrating since I have no paperwork. "D"- Man 827 #5 Posted January 30, 2015 (edited) I am quite certain you should be able to click on the image and it will enlarge. Or you may try to zoom in via your computers tools option. The 18 Automatic was only made for 1 year in 1973. Hope this helps, Mark. Edited January 30, 2015 by 23 Automatic LSE
