stratostar250 934 #1 Posted January 25, 2015 I took the time today (all of about 10 minutes ) to put the snow blower on Work Horse 700. With the upcoming weather forecast, I figured I better get ready! I absolutely cannot believe how easy it is to put on! Literally, one bolt, run the belt, and the lift arm bar, and that is it! I tried it out on what was left in our front yard from the other day, and I am very impressed, It works great, really throws snow far! What an exciting little tool!

stratostar250 934 #8 Posted January 25, 2015 (edited) Wonder, did a set of chains come with it Tom? Ah, yes. Yes it did! I'm considering putting them on. The steepest part of my driveway is ice, so I probably should. Edited January 25, 2015 by stratostar250

stratostar250 934 #12 Posted January 25, 2015 Not trying to hi-jack or anything but , all I ever see W/H's equipped with are single stage blowers . Did they ever make a 2 stage ? Don't worry, It's on topic, so it's fine! I'm sure people know more than I do, I know there are 2 stage blowers for wheel horses, but I don't know if Wheel Horse actually made any of them, I think one company is Berco, but don't quote me one that because I'm not positive. I'm sure someone more informed will chime in!

JERSEYHAWG / Glenn 4,498 #23 Posted January 27, 2015 Wheel horse made a 2 stage model 79361. I have one on my 312-8 that did good last year but not so good this time. I thinking not enough snow or just to wet. anyone else have a 2 stage on a 312-8? I only have single stage snowblowers. I would like to get a 2 stage. Did not work good at all the other day, TO WET, TO HEAVY. I guess it was the same for you to. Glenn
ericj 1,579 #24 Posted January 27, 2015 2 of the 520's have have Carlisle 23x10.50x12 ag tires the blower has carlise all trail 23x10.50x12 and the 416-8 has chin-shin 23x10.50x12 ag on it. the all trails and the chin-shin are new this year and i like them both. i did ad 2 link chains to the all trails on the blower tractor. saturday i used the 416 with the new ags on and it did real good. should have put them on 8" rims but went with the 7's and it turned out ok and like i said did good. i know you have to be careful what you wish for but i would like about 24' of snow to test my fleet. but since i'm not a youngster any more i know that it's not that simple any more and that much snow causes lots of problems in the long run eric j
