scotty 252 #1 Posted January 20, 2015 We have officialy finished the swap of the GT-14 to an 8 speed after alot of work. A lot of fabricating little things made this harder than i thought it was. It should now be a complete beast for pulling my one bottom plow this spring. We got rid of any and all the hydraulics. Going to have to add a manual pick arm at some point.

papaglide 541 #4 Posted January 20, 2015 Too bad you had to drop all the hydraulics, an eight speed with hydraulic lift would have been awesome. My ideal tractor.
scotty 252 #5 Posted January 20, 2015 Ill have to get some pictures tommorow. And im sure there was a way to keep the hydraulics but i didnt want to mess around with it. Would have been a nice beast with hydraulic lift!
bmsgaffer 2,043 #6 Posted January 21, 2015 Heck yes, throw a small hydraulic pump on the drive belt line and have the best of both worlds!

953 nut 52,066 #9 Posted January 23, 2015 Must really move out, 15" tires on a transmission meant for 12" should make it go rather fast.
