That one is my fav also Zieg.  The 14 Magnum is not to be under estimated.  Mine will be 28 in April and has been in the family since new.  I never had anything it wouldn't do and the fuel consumption is pretty beyond belief.  That is one you should keep for sure!

Here is mine, original paint too.  We did upgrade the factory rear tires a few months ago -

For now she is a keeper as I need something to plow with.  It will get a break as my other will do most of the grass duties.  The plow I want for my other tractor is rather expensive so for now it is cost effective to keep em both...

Very nice, it should handle all the white stuff with ease.  :handgestures-thumbupright:

Very nice rig Zieg, especially with the steering upgrades! Now I have a question, does anyone know what the difference is between a 314H with an Eaton 1100 and a 414? Mine has the larger tires in front, not the smaller ones. They seem to be the same exact tractor other than decals?

All 414's are 8 speeds.

So other than that one is just as heavy duty as the other... Interesting.

I have a 4-14 for snow duty also. This was a picture from last year when we actually had snow to plow. She is patiently waiting. This one is an all original survivor that is great all around condition.

Hey Zieg,

Are you going to fix the 520? Sounds like you stripped it and you don't want to look back!  :happy-jumpeveryone:

I stripped all the "options" that made it "real nice" and sold them off.  Put a sweet low hour Onan on it and recently sold it on eBay.  Almost got what I wanted for it, and still have the 492 hour Onan to part out that came off of it.  The rear cylinder had about 60 psi compression but it still ran decent, just was a bear to start.

For those interested it takes a 84" belt with a 5 1/2" hydro engine pulley on a 414-8 to re-gear it.

I have a '97 314-8, I don't guess there is much difference, since I have the led light array on the dash. I like it, it does my bull work year 'round.
