jwiss1995 17 #1 Posted January 11, 2015 im wanting to change the fluid in my 414-8 but im wondering what fluid to use and how much. also, where is the drain plug on these? also, it seems like there is some water in the trans. should i worry about flushing it or just drain it and fill it with new fluid? it works fine, just wanna get good fluid in it. thanks in advance! scotty 252 #3 Posted January 12, 2015 Alot of the trannys i change the gear oil in always has some water. If the boot was destroyed and left outside and if the oil looks bad then i flush it. I use 80w-90 gear oil in mine.
