Hodge71 663 #1 Posted January 6, 2015 Computer is still down so I cant print any files or really look at them on my phone in any detail. Does anyone know how the d series snowblower lifts? I scored a decent one and a 56" plow for a steal and I'm trying to figure this out. It came without the lift mechanism and the auger rotation control. Plus the wire cable needs some attention too
Trouty56 565 #2 Posted January 6, 2015 (edited) Sure....the blower attaches to the mid attach....there are two bars that attach to each side of the snowblower frame at the back that also attach to the lift rock shaft.... Then it works similar to a regular blower....those arms PUSH the blower up.... The drive system attaches to the front attach.... Hodge71 663 #4 Posted January 7, 2015 Thank you so much Bob...I looked at my blower and I do have those arms you speak of. Next question is what does the chute control look like? I take it there must be something that attaches to the tractor to support it? Where does it go? I also need a dimension on the length of it. Thanks again,
Trouty56 565 #5 Posted January 8, 2015 The chute adjuster is kind of telescopic...a square tube within a square tube.....it attaches to the cable turning jigger with an eyehook so you can easily take it off.....then it has a bracket to attach to the left side of the tractor.....you can see it here above Lacey's pretty head.....
