snowhound 106 #1 Posted January 5, 2015 I replaced the fuel pump on my Kholer M16 with a plastic replacment, the pump works fine but I have an oil leak around it that I haven't been alble to correct. The instructions say not to use a gasket use only the o ring that was supplied but a standard gasket was also in the kit. My questiion is has anyone used a gasket with one of the plastic pumps. To answer your question though, I have replaced 2 fuel pumps with the aftermarket ones and have only used the O-Ring gaskets with success. I don't believe mine supplied the paper gasket.
