114-8892-03?

I would just slide the hubs out a little if you're only gaining 5/16". :confusion-shrug:

Would be nice to have a set that spaces them out about 1 inch for inside clearance of tire chains to clear the hydro fan....

I was always curious about this. What kind of minor modifications are necessary? I don't have much of a metal shop, so I have never bought a set just to try.

It's been a while, but I remember buying new G8 7/16-20 bolts that were long enough to pass through a plain 1/2" tapered seat steel lug nut (older Ford car/truck), through the spacer, and thread into the tractor hub. The bolts were long enough to extend through the wheel hub so a nut could be threaded onto the end. The nut was tightened against the wheel hub - locking the bolt in place.

The bolt holes in the wheel need opened up to 1/2" to fit over the adapter studs.

With the spacers I used on a C-145 I got 7/16 by 2" bolts and thick washers along with star lock washers. I threaded them into the hub from the inside like car lugs. Then used old chevy lug nuts

7/16-20 x 2" long from the back of the hubs. 7/16-20 open end lug nuts available in auto supply outlets.

Pic below shows 7/16-20 x 1-1/2" long bolts. I'll have to change bolts (length) if I use spacers. Easy enough.

One chore, lug bolts to lug nuts, is usually high on my list of items to to. Makes changing wheels so much easier.

I was referring to the 1" (or thicker) bolt-on spacer/adapter. They get fastened to the tractor hubs and can stay there.

Running the bolts in through the thicker adapter/spacer means there's no danger of interference with installing the wheel on the outward-facing studs.

The seats in the thick spacer/adapter are designed for larger lug nuts (13/16" hex) which is why I recommended sliding the bigger lug nuts over the 7/16" bolts.

If that seems unprofessional, drill the tractor hub holes out to install 1/2" wheel studs to match the correct lug nuts for the adapter/spacer.

Did Toro make lugs that were used with these spacers?  Talked to Toro today and they said they didn't have spacers for a 314-8 1996.  I got a set of theses spacers from dealer on Friday.  I stopped at another dealer and they didn't have spacer or longer lugs just standard 83-2720 lugs.  I guess I could try and find a auto parts store that has the right  size lugs and set them up like a car.
