rmaynard 16,344 #1 Posted January 1, 2015 Just pulled the heads, muffler, and intake manifold on my Onan P-216. I need new gaskets. Who's got the best deal? I found Gary's Place. His prices look good, but can I do better?

km3h 543 #7 Posted January 2, 2015 I am working on a new hard drive and do not have my address book up yet. As soon as I do I will shoot you Boomers info.
sorekiwi 761 #8 Posted January 2, 2015 When I did my 520 I used parts from Garys Place. I didnt know of Boomer then. The gaskets I got werent as nice as the OEM Onan pieces, but were 1/3 of the price.

rmaynard 16,344 #10 Posted January 2, 2015 Thanks for the info. Looking at both Boomers and Gary's for the same thing, a gasket set for valve grind or de-carboning, Gary's set is about 30% less expensive. I don't know whether either guy sells OEM or aftermarket, but at this point, every dollar saved is important.

sorekiwi 761 #12 Posted January 3, 2015 I just remembered that the decarb kit from Gary's did not include exhaust gaskets. I ordered those through my local Toro dealer.
