Tankman 3,523 #1 Posted December 28, 2014 (edited) Son 'n grandson went thru the woods to gather wood for the wood stove before the chill. The '90 520-8 keeps on rolling, trailer was filled to the top and lots more. Two other Horses have dozers mounted waitin' for the cold, wet, nasty white stuff! I made the boys clean the old Stallion, a good rub down. Gotta love and care for the Horses don't we? Have you heard of Geno's prison camp? He works the Horses so hard the Stallions sleep like rocks! Don1977 605 #6 Posted December 28, 2014 You could haul 3 or 4 times that much wood and that Wheel Horse would not even know it was back there.

Tankman 3,523 #9 Posted December 28, 2014 You could haul 3 or 4 times that much wood and that Wheel Horse would not even know it was back there. You got that right! The 20 hp Onan never strains at all regardless of the chore. Was always a Kohler Horse guy, nowadays usually mount the '90 520-8 for work. The Onan purrs and I don't think could be overworked. GT14 243 #10 Posted December 28, 2014 Like Henry Ford said "cut your own wood, it warms you twice". Spending time with your son is icing on that cake.
