GT14 243 #1 Posted December 27, 2014 This came up for sale locally, 1986 312a. What's a fair price with the plow?
Forest Road 594 #2 Posted December 27, 2014 312a has an Eaton 700. They're not as durable as the 1100 found in the tractors with "H" labeling, 312H,314H 520H, etc. Looks like a nice clean machine. It's easier to acknowledge a fare price. So what's the asking price?

Geno 1,929 #4 Posted December 27, 2014 If everything works and the paint looks good I would say it's worth it. It looks really good from here.
GT14 243 #5 Posted December 27, 2014 If everything works and the paint looks good I would say it's worth it. It looks really good from here. Might take a look today to see if its a none smoker, and tranny is strong. I am primarily interested in the 48" plow.
Forest Road 594 #6 Posted December 27, 2014 If its flawless that's reasonable. If it was a mower it'd be spot on. Pushing dirt and snow for 10+ years with a 700 is cause for concern.

Kelly 1,033 #8 Posted December 27, 2014 That plow looks like it has little to no use on it, tractor looks clean if it runs good and trans feels good, I'd say it's on the top side of what it is worth, if it was mine I'd be asking $650 and probably take $600
fireman 1,022 #9 Posted December 27, 2014 From what I've seen on Craigslist in your area I think you could do much better. Check it for the entire state. I can't post links here but I know there are better deals!
AMC RULES 37,196 #10 Posted December 27, 2014 Two hundred too much.
Tankman 3,523 #11 Posted December 29, 2014 Looks great but looks aren't everything. No deck? Ouch. 😼
Irv 115 #12 Posted December 30, 2014 Looks nice to me. If it comes with a deck, I'd say it's worth close to the asking price. If you like it, start your offer at $600 and see what happens.
skrusins 128 #13 Posted December 30, 2014 The rear axle hubs should have a black facing not red.
Geno 1,929 #14 Posted December 31, 2014 I thought they changed the axle hubs to black the next year when they started using the magnum engines.
