One can turn the carburater fitting so it is in a downdraft position and this would be the air cleaner for that since the orientation of louver would then be correct. However I suspect that the real function of the louver orientation is only to protect filter from water entering it if exposed to the elements. Since the hood is over it in this case I dont believe it to be an issue. Also while in my posession this thing is never going to see a drop of water Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
