wheel horse restrictor plate

:omg: First is there a restrictor plate on a D 250? Is it the 1/2" plate under the carb? will it hurt to take it off? :banghead: :USA:

I don't know if there is a restrictor plate, if there is and you remove it, it will definietly be a violation in NASCAR when you bring the old 250 to one of the super speedway tracks...

Not exactly a restrictor plate but a carb spacer.

Now ifn's ya' really do want to fast with ths engine .... it can be done. :USA:

This Reanult engine was also used in the early 70's in the Reanult Alpine which is basicly a French sports car. Every thing from racing cylinder heads to fuel injection is avaible for this block configuration. :banghead:

and maybe some 12.5 compression pistons and a 3 1/2 cam would make some serious h.p. but i want to it all stock just more h.p. so i can burn out in four gear not just 1-3 !!!!!!! :banghead:
