84specialed 16 #1 Posted December 4, 2014 I've only had this tractor for a few weeks. Was running pretty good, wouldn't start this afternoon. I Don't have any fire, points look good and are gapped correctly. Has power at the coil when the ignition switch is turned on. I'm thinking it's the coil. km3h 543 #6 Posted December 5, 2014 There are some good threads on testing the coil on this site. Did you check the condenser? If It is bad, you won't get spark. I have used the Harley coil. Actually used a replacement Harley coil from Gorilla. Bought it on EBay for about $30,00. You have to make sure you get the right voltage and dual fire. Voltage should be 3 volts and dual fire means that both sides spark with each revolution. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
