Lane Ranger 10,495 #1 Posted December 1, 2014 (edited) American Pickers is scheduled to air on Wednesday night, December 3rd, on The History Channel at 9:00 EST. (also on at different times this week on your local station. The episode’s title is “Grudge Matchâ€. I can tell you now that I was contacted by the producers and asked to contribute some Wheel Horse photos for this episode. I have not seen it and not sure what will appear. The photos requested were of some of our 1964 Wheel Horse 1054's. I signed a release that provided the photos for their use. I do know that the producers have given me a "credit" that runs at the end of the show! *************************** SHOW TIMES: Grudge Match Premiere Date:December 03, 2014 - 09:00-10:03PM ET It's Frank vs. Mike when the guys take to the track for a grudge match drag race to see who has the fastest ride. Lane Ranger 10,495 #12 Posted December 2, 2014 The shows appear on the History Channel site for the American Pickers on the Internet so I think folks will be able to see this online after it appears. I believe they post them on You Tube under the episode title.

GlenPettit 1,714 #14 Posted December 2, 2014 Looking forward to watching it, I also enjoy that show, and looking over their shoulders to see what's in the background. In the last few years, have seen at least three different TV shows with a 'moment' shot of a Wheel Horse in it. Only takes 1/1,000,000 of a second to spot our Red Wheel Horses. wingrider 21 #22 Posted December 3, 2014 Hey Lane they were at my place in Oct 2011. They walked right by about 8 Wheel Horse tractors in my garage, and didn't even see them. I did sell them a couple of things that day. All I can say about them being here is it was 25 minutes of mass confusion. I did get some pictures of them and me that are on my computer home page. Lane Ranger 10,495 #24 Posted December 3, 2014 Ken B: One of American Pickers research assistants from New York City contacted me and asked to use Wheel Horse photos that were posted on the internet for one of their shows . This was earlier this year. I think the photos were posted by me several years ago on Flickr. Gary/Wingrider: I can imagine a visit by those guys could cause all kinds of disruptions! It does not surprise me that walked past a row of Wheel Horses -they probably thought they were just a bunch of lawn mowers anyway!
Ken B 3,116 #25 Posted December 3, 2014 You should send them some pics of a Senior if you don't have one and have them keep an eye out for one if you want one. I would have to think that in all of the years they have been pickin that they must have walked by AT LEAST ONE...
