89257-H 0 #1 Posted December 1, 2014 After resolving the electrical problem yesterday on my 257-H restoration project I discovered that the drive pulley assembly that slides onto the engine crankshaft and runs the hydraulic pump is bent. I cannot find a part # or a diagram of it anywhere. Any suggestions as to where I can find this part? Also anyone have any experience with the snow thrower belt system for this tractor? gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,510 #2 Posted December 1, 2014 The engine pulley is shown and listed with the pto clutch. Problem is there are 2 listed - 113327 and 113326 and it does not tell us what model uses what. Will do some more digging. Garry
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,510 #3 Posted December 1, 2014 Appears they were used only on these and no indication what fits what. 22-13KE01, 252-H Tractor, 1988 22-13KE02, 252-H Tractor, 1989 22-17KE01, 257-H Tractor, 1988 22-17KE02, 257-H Tractor, 1989 Garry
89257-H 0 #4 Posted December 2, 2014 Thanks Garry, punched those #s in on a parts site and came up with what I needed.
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,510 #5 Posted December 2, 2014 How did you figure out which motor uses what pulley? I'm guess the 13hp model and 17hp model share the same parts manual so that is why both are listed. Garry
89257-H 0 #6 Posted December 2, 2014 I found the part on mowerpartpros.com and they listed both part #s for all applications, the 1988 12 and 17 horsepower and the 1989 12 and 17. The price of the two parts is only about a $1.00 difference. I have no idea what the difference between the two is.
