Geno 1,928 #5 Posted November 28, 2014 Is that the same tractor that's been traded several times here lately?
stevebo-(Moderator) 8,041 #6 Posted November 28, 2014 The 520 is the one I bought in the spring in upstate NY. I used it over the summer for grass cutting with a 60" C195 deck. The tractor runs really strong and never gave me any issues. I did a mini block buster deal with ken a little while back and he did his thing to make it pretty and right. It is a nice machine for sure. Hope both Ken and Jason are happy.
Ken B 3,116 #7 Posted November 28, 2014 I got up at 6am this morning and headed to Jason's to drop off a few tractors and then Jason and myself hopped in my van and headed all the way to Cape Cod to pick up something I have always wanted.. It's not NOS but it does have only 250 hrs. on it. She wasn't very well cared for in the cosmetic dept. but it is complete and she does run strong. The engine oil was full and pretty clean so that made me feel pretty good.Very rarely do I ever see a 420 come up for sale. When I knew Jason was buying the 420 I made my offer to Jason and he accepted it. It was as easy as that. I'm happy with what I got on my end and I'm pretty sure he is as well. As for the 417 or 520 being on C/L all I can say is at the end of the day the bills gotta get paid and i hope he does well on them...

whtractors24 2,898 #9 Posted November 28, 2014 I'm super happy with what I got from ken ! I know he is that's what counts. He's a great dude that is only one of the few on here understand what and why I sell etc and still enjoy the wheel horse machines as Much as any one. Some are not replaceable . I do regret some sales but when I buy my house this upcoming year and have a garage to myself I'm sure I will hoard them as much as I sell them now. As my inbox Will fill up lol there all available... but at the end of the day that 420 lse ended up in the hands of a ken who will do nothing but right for it!
Ken B 3,116 #10 Posted November 28, 2014 The big bummer for me is it is so friggin cold out now I can't do any cleaning so I can find out what it looks like beneath some of the dirt etc. I need too decide whether to fully restore it or clean it up... 47JDG 65 #12 Posted November 28, 2014 Those are all very nice looking machines. I like to wheel and deal farm and lawn equipment, automotive parts, etc. It's a fun hobby and I enjoy rotating some things in and out here and there. I have traded my way up into some real nice things in the process and the hobby self sustains itself by doing so. It keeps it interesting. No harm in having fun and enjoying yourself! Good trades guys.

VinsRJ 721 #15 Posted November 29, 2014 Very nice Ken! I say restore it...
Jrblanke 840 #16 Posted November 29, 2014 Great looking machines! I think in this case, a good clean up might be as good as a restore. Meaning, keep the original paint, but rechrome parts if necessary, and condition the dookie out of that leather seat.
AMC RULES 36,945 #17 Posted November 29, 2014 You gotta restore that chrome Ken.
