Docwheelhorse 2,740 #1 Posted October 19, 2008 Heard an odd noise coming from the neighbors house and walked over I was COMPLETLY DISGUSTED to see our own Sparky driving a Craftsman mower to mow and pick up his leaves. Who does he think he is sleeping with the enemy.... PLEASE REMOVE HIS PRIVALEDGES IMMEDIATELY AS WE DO NOT NEED SO CALLED WHEEL HORSE LOVERS EXPOSING THERE TRUE FEELINGS!!!! Here is a picture for proof.... I will also need help repossesing all of his Wheel Horse tractors and parts as he does not deserve them. Please email me if you can help..... Thanks for all your support..... Tony :horseplay:
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,604 #2 Posted October 19, 2008 Tony, That's a disturbing picture. Sparky must be off his meds. As a friend and neighbor, only you can help, Tony. It looks like we need to form an intervening group. Friends don't let friends drive Craftsman. Of course, if Sparky continues in this behavior, then it's only appropriate you confiscate his horses until he's gets the help he needs.
Sparky-(Admin) 23,147 #3 Posted October 19, 2008 I know...I know...its a green Craftsman. At least the rims and seat aint yellow . Well heres the deal since my secret is out . My wife bought this for me for fathers day in 2001. At the time I had only one WH, a 701 with no deck just a plow. My MTD built Agway had just about died and this Craftsman was the replacement. I have had 7 years of great service outa this tractor and it still has the original Die-Hard battery that it came with. I have had no troubles with it yet. I cant complain. It only sees mowing and bagging duty as the aluminum tranny (hydro) would surely quit with a snow-plow hooked to it. I do have a 36" deck on a C-85 and a 48" deck on my 416-H but neither will bag. Does that redeem me??? Mike........... PS......If you ever bring home something not WH Tony, you had better keep it under a tarp where my camera cant see it :omg:

linen beige 15 #8 Posted October 19, 2008 It's OK Sparky. I mow with a (Kohler powered) Craftsman too. It's the only thing it's good for. But when there's real work to be done, I fire up a 'Horse and chuckle when I hear 'em say "Look here boy, let me show ya how it's done".
Sparky-(Admin) 23,147 #9 Posted October 19, 2008 Hmmm....where was the Paparazzi wanna-be neighbor today when the 416 and I were clearing the leaves from my front stonewall ? Musta been off chasin Brittney Spears . Mike...........

CasualObserver 3,411 #14 Posted October 21, 2008 but doesn't look near as happy working the WheelHorse :wtf: is up with that? my guess would be because he wishes he had a sweeper to collect all those leaves so he could till them into a garden. Cheer up Sparky... at least it was seat time!! :banghead:
linen beige 15 #15 Posted October 21, 2008 Craftsman mowers are like fat women. They can both be a lot of fun, You just DO NOT want your friends to see ya ridin' one. :banghead:
JimD 3,347 #16 Posted October 21, 2008 o.k., time to fess up here.,i can't be anymore sparky, cause i have a green thingy in my barn too. and it's much worse than a craftsman. here she is... but in my defense, when i use her i'm always wearing e RED SWEATSHIRT! :USA:
saguaro 0 #17 Posted October 21, 2008 I to am GUILTY. Have a 13 year old craftsman. :banghead:
tasmi01 3 #18 Posted October 21, 2008 :USA: I can't believe someone would do that, but we all know why he owns a horse it's to pull his wife around on the craftsman as the picture shows it's definatley not a moving tractor,it actually makes a great LAWN chair (confession as well.I too have an old yardman in my garage and my father has a cub cadet)GUILTY AS CHARGED we all have the beaters in the sheds. :omg:
bitten 134 #19 Posted October 21, 2008 I have to admit that I use a Ferris to cut our grass . The time it would take to use one of the horses compared to the Ferris is incomparable. This thing will mow doing 10MPH. I have never even put any time trying to get one of the decks to work. One thing though, it is red. I hope my confession will make it all better in the long run. P.J. Duff 206 #20 Posted October 21, 2008 I hope my confession will make it all better in the long run. P.J. Yeah, and I'm not "pure" either. My brother and I take care of my Mom's place (four acres of lawn ) with a pair of green and yellow tractors my Dad had before he passed. Saves having to trailer my 'horse 17 miles each way to do the mowing...... BUT....I always caress the 'horse and apologize for my indiscretion before I leave and when I come home! (Sick, ain't I!) Duff :USA:
Brian1045 28 #21 Posted October 21, 2008 I also ride a 15 yr old craftsman, that looks like something outta madmax with all the years of abuse. But hey atleast it's a Kohler. My Fiance' rides the wanna be JD from Lowes. I like the old beaters myself. Instead of having the new hydro's, comfortable seats, tight steering and all that. I let her ride that one. Not sure about the WH when I get it done. I may just use her for parades! And /or bragging rights as I putt around the neighborhood.
