Snow blade height

Recommended Posts

When my snow blade is lifted it is only about two inches off the ground, how can I adjust this?

Thank you in advance,

You would need to shorten the lift link or chain

You can also change the hole in which the lift arm attaches to the bell crank. the further from the shaft you clip the lift chain the higher it will lift (with a little more force needed if this is manual lift)

I adjusted all three and now the blade lifts higher but will not lock in the up position.

What model tractor? Do you have a Lift Control on it?

it is a 310, just a lever.

might have went too far....maybe start with the lift handle locked in the up position....raise the blade and prop it with wood or something....then get the chain adjusted.....

Keep in mind too, that with manual lift, you will need to be able to lift the blade just slightly higher than the "locked up" position so that you can pull back a little to unlock it.

So basically dont make it so high that its stuffed up in the chassis.

I think mine only rides 2-3" from the ground when locked up...

Finally got it. I ended up removing the lift link and replacing it with a piece of chain. I went from 1 1/2" when lifted to 5".

Thank you for all the help
