Sparky-(Admin) 23,147 #5 Posted October 18, 2008 Man, you seem to have a lot of bad luck. Anyway, I dont keep spare filters in stock but I do keep the old drive belts/mower deck belts/ and snow-blower belts that I take off. I just roll em up and stuff them into the bag that the new belt came in with the part# printed on the bag so I know what the belt fits. The belts are old and worn but will do just fine in a pinch till I could get a new one. Mike........

That's why I hung onto the old six-sided specialty belt they use on the 37" SD decks when I ordered a new one - and a spare. Try to find one of THOSE any time, let alone on a Sunday, in northern New England! Also kept my old main drive belt. Cheers! Duff :banghead:
