jwiss1995 17 #1 Posted November 25, 2014 Unfortunately my starter went out on my GT 1142 and now I need a new one. But I for some reason can't figure out which one to get! gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,393 #4 Posted November 26, 2014 It is the correct one. You have breakerless magneto ignition. No idea why you can't open it unless you are using a hand held device. jwiss1995 17 #7 Posted November 26, 2014 I found them! I was confused because the mounting bracket is thinner than my original but I guess the was a redesign.
