New wheel 23 #1 Posted November 23, 2014 (edited) Instructions for mounting snowblower? Pulled the deck and found the pin that runs across the frame to hold lifting bar was broke at the bar. It had been welded before. Is this a common problem? Can snowblower be mounted without it. It is p/n 113445. I guess it is solid to the bar as it is listed as one p/n. Any info would be helpful. Thanks. Good reason I wasn't getting much lift with the deck. One more issue. Hydraulics. Pull back and deck goes down , front it goes up. Checked hydraulic lines and they look right Edited November 23, 2014 by New wheel
cheesegrader 433 #2 Posted November 23, 2014 Which snowthrower? Manuals are in the manuals section if you know the model. I think the owners manual for the 520 also has most of the information. The rear bar on the snowthrower frame goes on the mid-mount atach-o-matic mount. Front bar goes on the front attach-o-matic mount. For my two-stage, it is easiest to pull the pin and attach the bar to the tractor, then re-assemble the front lift mechanism. Lift bar attaches directly to the rockshaft (rear arm) Belt goes on the OUTER race of the PTO.
New wheel 23 #3 Posted November 25, 2014 Thanks. Model 79360. Just finished cleaning and painting today. Is this newer than my tractor. Mine is a 1988. This is a toro blower? Thanks
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 10,503 #4 Posted November 26, 2014 The 79360 was sold 1993-2001. If it is a 7-digit serial the first number identifies the year. If a 9-digit serial the 2nd number identifies the year. Search the Manuals here at RS using the 79360 and then select the model year from the results. Click on that line and the page that comes up will have the serial listed. If it is what you want click on Download. If not click your Back button and try another. gwest_ca-(File Mod) 10,503 #7 Posted November 26, 2014 So does that mean it is a ninety one Yes it is a 1991 http://www.wheelhorseforum.com/files/file/4436-tractor-1991-520-h-520-he-dapdf/ The model number can be confusing 41-20OE02 20= engine hp O= Onan engine E=Eaton transmission 02= numbers. The O's and 0's need to be entered correctly and the dash is required. Garry

New wheel 23 #10 Posted November 27, 2014 Thanks. I was able to determine mine is a 1997 blower. I got the manual for it. It's a chain driven unit. Is there no internal cover for the chain?
