varosd 1,185 #1 Posted November 23, 2014 I know that a lot of folks already have had snow, but I had Dad's B-80 out finishing up the leaves. I just use it here and there but she is really retired from the big chores. other than having a Cyclone system, I have had good luck with the Parker sweeper. I do run the 42 RD deck (416-H) and sweep but the best way is to hit them with some speed and boy those brushes sling the leaves all the way to the back of the sweeper. yes, it fills up quick that way, but I run it up on the road, dump, repeat, repeat and then dismount to rake them just off the road. I started doing it at night. I can then see if a car is coming, safety first.

stevasaurus 22,273 #4 Posted November 25, 2014 Don, I have been doing leaves for 5 weeks now...I am done now (because of the snow), but I will have some more in the spring when it all melts. I am starting to hate my neighbors...I had to shame them into doing something with theirs. They all find their way into my yard.
AMC RULES 36,957 #5 Posted November 25, 2014 Our leaves never end here... gigantic Pin Oak in the back yard that only drops it's last leaves... when the new one's push out in the spring.
Wheel-N-It 2,967 #6 Posted November 25, 2014 Looks like you and that B-80 are doing as fine job of getting rid of those pesky leaves Don!
