rollingflat 123 #1 Posted November 23, 2014 About 21 years ago I got married and started a love afair with my wife....and a wheel horse tractor after many years of working the property mowing, hauling, pushing snow and dirt ( the wheel horse not wife) I bought a toro zero turn and put the horse in the stable for a long needed rest. Four years ago a young man in our church mentioned to me that he was starting a mowing business in town and was looking for a riding mower to use and asked if I could keep an eye out for one. After alot of soul searching I told him I would trade him my horse for 4 days of labor on my property w the understanding I would get it back if he no longer wanted it and he agreed. After mowing in the summer and plowing drives in the winter that first year or two it was parked in the front yard unprotected. On occasion I would drive by and see it still parked in the yard and tell my wife theres my first WH. Finally I could take it no longer and today I brought it back to its rightful home. He was happy to do another trade and I was happy to get my second love back. It has alot more company in the stable now but Its glade to be home too!
