Digger 66 3,477 #101 Posted November 21, 2014 I forgot about that place. The side is painted tye dyed looking. How deep is the snow in the city? It kind of depends where you measure as there was alot of drifting . Best I can say from my own perspective , my six foot light post out front had about a foot left , then it would have been covered . All i know is after 5 blows with the Ariens , it wouldn't blow it high enough to clear the sides . I started throwing it over them with the shovel & my shoulders are burning . Wheel-N-It 2,967 #102 Posted November 21, 2014 You guys are an amazing breed to work through these kinds of Winters year after year. I'm very impressed with your snow removal skills using Wheel Horses. They seem so small compared to the volume of snow you are having to relocate.

DotheDoo 15 #111 Posted November 22, 2014 OMG, That is all that comes to mind. OMG. I just finish raking leaves here in Connecticut and you guys are what 6-8 hours North from me...79 inches. I'm 75" inches tall.....I love my snow. But I have never seen a dump like this before. I know Jay Peak Ski area in Jay Vermont gets lake effect snow and one season they received a total snow fall of 42 feet., Think about that, 42 feet of snow on the mountain for the ski season. But your snow fall is far more impressive because it happened in 48 hours or so...OMG!
Stigian 1,234 #112 Posted November 22, 2014 I dread to think what would happen if that amount of snow ever hits the UK.... The country grinds to a halt if there's 6 inches on the roads as it is!
chevrat68 19 #113 Posted November 22, 2014 Great job on a keeping everyone updated on your journey through the winter wonderland of upstate NY. I grew up in the lake effect area of Lake Ontario. So I feel SOME of your pain, but we never got that much in that short of time. Again great job and keep safe. and treat your herd to some high test for a job well done.
