Another k161 question

I have a 704 I am rebuilding with a K161T spec #28937E, this one has a bushing on the flywheel side. Anyone point me in the right direction to find a manual, part # and if so a place to buy one? Trying to stay original as I can I think this will be one sweet tractor when complete.

               Thanks Tom

I am interested in this too Tom.  I have a 704 like that that needs a rebuild too!  Brian Buckrancher told me at the big show this past summer in Pennsylvania there are some parts from  a non-Kohler manufacturer you can get for those unusual magnetos in this 7 HP Kohler!

Terry

Most Kohler's have a roller bearing on both ends of the crankshaft. Mine has a bushing in the removable plate under the flywheel and a bearing on the PTO side.

Is there anything wrong with the bushing. Most of the time they don't wear.

It wasn't new, but it is now in the hands of Lane Ralph (Lane Ranger).
