Shynon 7,486 #1 Posted November 16, 2014 I have a 704 I am rebuilding with a K161T spec #28937E, this one has a bushing on the flywheel side. Anyone point me in the right direction to find a manual, part # and if so a place to buy one? Trying to stay original as I can I think this will be one sweet tractor when complete. Thanks Tom
Lane Ranger 11,602 #2 Posted November 17, 2014 I am interested in this too Tom. I have a 704 like that that needs a rebuild too! Brian Buckrancher told me at the big show this past summer in Pennsylvania there are some parts from a non-Kohler manufacturer you can get for those unusual magnetos in this 7 HP Kohler! Terry M-(Moderator) 2,265 #4 Posted November 17, 2014 Because I'm working with the same engine...just curious what part you guys are talking about. crank bearing bushing?? or something else?
Shynon 7,486 #5 Posted November 17, 2014 Terry Most Kohler's have a roller bearing on both ends of the crankshaft. Mine has a bushing in the removable plate under the flywheel and a bearing on the PTO side. Tom
WH nut 553 #6 Posted November 17, 2014 Is there anything wrong with the bushing. Most of the time they don't wear.
