duke 49 #1 Posted November 16, 2014 I bought a Wheel Horse thought to be assembled from inventory parts in 1974. The frame is solid so I began the Engine Cradle Installation, get all the fabrication done before the painting takes place!

duke 49 #4 Posted November 16, 2014 Thanks guys! I know it'll be slow going as I have three going back together at one time! The 312-8 "classic" and the 18 Auto loaded, have kept me running in circles already!
Hammerhead 816 #5 Posted November 17, 2014 Your's looks to have the wrong hood on it. Mine has a 1969 style square hood on it which is correct for the A90 Special. Good luck with yours, mine is a worker for sure!
duke 49 #6 Posted November 17, 2014 (edited) No actually they used all of the early hoods up first, then they used the newer style, I'll get a picture then of the hood mounts. Say, can you get a picture of the hood mounts on the front of your frame? I have a nice square hood from a 1077 that I want to install and I am curious to see how they made up the front hinges or brackets on yours? Your front wheels are 8" is that the factory norm for this as well? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you! Edited November 18, 2014 by duke
